20224 Activities!!We made a "how to grow dahlias" presentation at Evergreen Nursery. It was one of the most attended programs they had had! Here we are at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton, each Staurday, 2-6 PM The San Leandro Cherry Festival was a great way to introduce the community to dahlias and the society. 2025 Our January meeting, 2024, was a potluck, thanking our outgoing president, John Morton for his 30 years of leading the society. His wife, Joanna Hansen-Morton, was the "gentle nudge" guiding John. They are a great team!!

The Pacific Southwest Dahlia Conference was held on February 24, 2024 in San Leandro. The SLDS had a good showing of members.
January 16, 2024 We enjoyed a potluck and Appreciation for John Morton and JoAnna Hansen-Morton. John is our outgoing president. He is still very involved in our society!!
